Late Transitional Sallet 1480-1500

This helmet draws inspiration from the sallets of the late 15th century. The visor boasts evenly spaced holes, strategically placed to ensure maximum breathability without compromising the helmet's defensive integrity. The helmet also features latches positioned at the sides, allowing you to firmly secure the visor in place and offer maximum head coverage. A cleverly placed slit on the visor ensures that your line of sight remains clear.

• Made from 2 mm steel with a 1.6 mm face, resulting in slight thickness variations due to handcrafted methods.
• The steel is untreated, but you have the option to protect it with mineral or synthetic oil if desired.
• A leather chin strap is included.
