Gauntlets 1350-1415

Amongst the most important targets during battle, keeping hands protected could be a matter of life and death on the battlefield. Inspired by historical models, these gauntlets protect the outer hand. The layered fingers allow essential movement so that warriors can keep their weapons at hand. Straps at the back of each finger keep the gloves firmly in place underneath the gauntlet. These are accompanied by a larger strap and buckle which goes across the back of the hand. They’re a wonderful choice for a range of historical character concepts.

These gauntlets

• Made of 1.6 mm steel, which may vary in thickness due to handcrafted methods
• Steel is untreated but can be protected with mineral or synthetic oil if desired.

Sizing

• Standard size: up to a 9 glove size (up to 23.5 cm - 26 cm)
• XL size: 10 to 11 glove size (26 - 28.5 cm up to 31 cm)
